Our Director and Founder, Evan Sourbis started this company in 2002. With a long, decorated career in finance, Evan has become a highly respected industry specialist and has assembled an award-winning and customer focused team. After being accoladed South Australia’s Number One Broker over consecutive years, Evan now spends his time managing Henley Home Loans’ operations and helping the team negotiate and secure loans for our clients. Drawing on his highly credible knowledge and experience, Evan continues to lead Henley Home Loans with an energetic drive and focus on superior client outcomes. With a career in finance spanning over 20 years, Evan has developed many strong relationships and networks which he leverages to achieve success. In his spare time, Evan enjoys the beach life, exercising and volunteering at his kid’s sports clubs. He is a family man with strong morals and ethics who loves music, art, history and literature and spending quality time with his family.
Brett embarked on his career in the banking and finance industry in 1993 and has since built a wealth of experience across all aspects of finance. Over the span of more than 30 years, Brett has developed a comprehensive skill set that includes operational experience as a mortgage broker, bank branch manager, senior credit assessor and senior lender, alongside qualifications in Financial Planning, Superannuation, Managed Funds, and Insurance. Brett’s deep understanding of the financial and real estate markets is further enhanced by his local knowledge, as he is a proud born-and-bred South Australian. Brett is driven by a passion for helping clients achieve the great Australian dream of home ownership. He is committed to providing exceptional customer service and assisting clients in achieving their financial goals and aspirations. Outside of his professional commitments, Brett is actively involved in the community, having volunteered with the Lions Club and Foodbank locally. He is a strong supporter of animal welfare and rights. In addition to his professional life, Brett has a long-standing interest in AFL football, having played at both local and regional levels. He also enjoys golf, gardening, and working on his classic American car, reflecting his passion for vintage vehicles. Brett takes great pleasure in exploring the sights and enjoying the lifestyle that South Australia offers.
